I'm on a roll this weekend. The Sunday paper has 5 coupon inserts this week! My husband picked up 4 papers for me. :) While he went off to work on his truck project, I spent two hours putting together various scenarios for CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens and Publix. Generally things never work out the way I plan, but for some reason the universe was on my side today!

First stop was CVS. I haven't been since May. I had no ECBs to start out with. I received a $3 off $15 CVS coupon in my email and decided to start with that. While sorting old coupons, I found two CVS gift cards. The card balances were $1.40 and $4.66. I was very happy about that since it would cut down my oop significantly.

$0.99 - Pocket Folders x 2
$1.98 - CVS 1 Subject Notebooks x 2
$1.98 - Stretch Book Covers x 2
$1.98 - Glue Sticks x 2
$1.98 - Flex Rulers x 2

My CVS receipt was about 4 feet long. Along with all my ECBs, I also received a FREE coupon for CVS brand aspirin 10-120 count, up to $3.69. Yay!

Next stop was Rite Aid. I found an old rebate check for $16.98, but it was over 90 days old. I decided to try it out anyway and they took it just fine! They also accepted the garnier coupon, which expired in March!

During my couponing hiatus, Walgreens stopped with their Easy Saver Rebate program. :( They promised a more consumer friendly and beneficial program, but nothing has been released. Don't expect many Walgreens deals anymore, I expect they'll be few and far between. Today I stopped by because I'm out of fabric softener and this was cheap enough. I also found a gift card with $7.50 on it.

Now, my receipt from Publix is VERY confusing. I typed this out how I did the transaction. However the Publix receipt states my total was six cents and I was negative fourteen cents for regular tax. HUH?! Yeah, I can't figure it out and I've spent too long even trying. But I paid $0.68 total. :)

While updating this I realized I had even more BJs coupons to use. (Mum, you didn't hear about the following deal!) The husband and I put together a list and decided to give the store next to our neighborhood a shot. (We hate that store, coupons always cause problems, but we didn't feel like driving across town again.) Once again, the universe is on my side, because it went flawlessly.

- $10.00 BJs General Mills $10/5 Coupon**

New Subtotal: $5.13

Paid OOP: $5.13 + tax (cash)

Yet again the Publix receipt is completely confusing and hard to read. UGH!! Also if I would have printed another $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon, my subtotal would have been only thirteen cents! Oh well, I still think it was a fantastic deal. A lot of overage too.

Now I am exhausted and ready for bed!

* The BJs General Mills Coupons were $5 off 3 products, $7 off 4 products and $10 off 5 products. I used these for the fruit rollups, eggo waffles, pop tarts and pillsbury crescent rolls. Found in BJs magazine and coupon booklet.

** The BJs Kraft Coupons were $8 off 4 products and $5 off 3 products. I used these for the capri suns and mac n cheese. Found in BJs magazine.

*** The BJs Unilever Coupons were $7 off 4 products. I used these for the ragu sauces. Found in BJs magazine.

**** The BJs Kelloggs Coupons were $5 off 3 products and $7 off 4 products - for some reason my coupon rang up $7 for 3 items. I used this for the Kelloggs cereals. Found in BJs magazine.

I'm surprised you didnt do the razor deal at riteaid. It was $7, with a $5 SCR and there was an $2 q in yesterday's paper. You couldve bought your total up to $25 and used the $5/25 rite aid coupon.

BTW - I'm hearing rumors that they are bringing back the ESR at walgreens next month.

The razor was on my list for Rite Aid, but they didn't have any in stock. It also was not in the fliers I received. I still have an old $6.00 rebate check, which I plan to put towards the razor. :)
