This past week was full of Walgreens deals. CVS had some deals going, but of course every single store around here was sold out the entire week. They really need to learn how to stock up for sales! I managed to hit all three drug stores since my previous post, so here's my weeks worth of deals in order of purchase date. :)

January 31st at Walgreens I attempted the Unilever deal again! Buy 8 products, get $10 is Register Rewards.

$23.92 - Dove Deodorant @ $2.99/ea. x 8

Subtotal: $23.92

- $8.00 Wags In-Ad Coupon ($1.00/ea. x 8)

New Subtotal: $9.92

Paid OOP: $9.92 + tax (cash)

I was suppose to receive the $10 RR, but it did not print. Since the store was busy I didn't bother bringing it up to the cashier. I called Catalina (1-888-8coupon) and after 40 minutes on hold, they're mailing me my $10 RR. Unforunately the 40 minutes was easier than the hassle of dealing with the store (there are new excuses everytime when an RR does not print).

February 1st I received my very first gift card from Walgreens from the January Easy Saver program that included the extra 10%. I decided to go grab the February Easy Saver deals to use up some expiring register rewards (they expire way too quickly)...

On February 7th I ran to Walgreens to check out the Right Guard RR deal. People on the forums are reporting coupons inside the box, which would make it a profit. Unfortunately neither of the two boxes on the shelf had coupons, but it was still a decent deal...

$5.99 - Right Guard Pro Deodorant
$1.99 - Wags Multi-Purpose Solution
$3.99 - Garnier Hair Spray

On February 6th I purchased a Venus razor and a Gillette Fusion Gamer razor at Walgreens. They were on sale for $8.99 and advertised as receiving $6.00 in register rewards. This would mean cheap/free razors. I went and picked up one of each - separate transactions - neither RR printed. When I pointed this out to the cashier, she called the manager. Once she hung up she informed me that since I used coupons, I was not entitled to any RR deals - false. I was like no, that's not true (recall the Dove or Ragu deal?!). I didn't even bother fighting it. I went back today (the 8th) and returned both razors. My favorite cashier was working, so we decided to try the deal out again - with coupons - and ta-da! The RR printed every time!

New Subtotal: $4.99

Paid OOP: $4.99 + tax (cash)

So yay for the register rewards finally working. I knew it wasn't because I used coupons. There's always a new excuse when it comes to failed RR deals at that store. Anyway, I also took advantage of some cleaning supply deals this week at Walgreens...

$7.00 - SCRubbing Bubbles @ $3.50/ea. x 2
$2.50 - Windex Wipes
$2.50 - Windex Multi-Purpose

Paid OOP: $6.50 + tax (cash)

Will Receive: $4.00 ESR (sc johnson cleaners)

That's everything for Walgreens (finally)!! I ran by CVS on February 1st to take advantage of a money making L'Oreal deal. Unfortunately I was only able to find two L'Oreal products - misplaced around the store. People are getting sneaky and hiding ECB items around the store the night before sales start, boo.

$5.99 - L'Oreal Towelettes
$5.99 - L'Oreal Towelettes
$7.99 - Earinse
$2.49 - Excedrin 10 Ct. Vial

There are three CVS stores in my town. I went to all of them numerous times this week. They never restocked on the L'Oreal products nor the $2.99 Electrasol. I ran by last night and got a raincheck for both items though. Hopefully they'll have them soon.

And finally we have Rite Aid's February 8th deals. They didn't have the Bayer Contour Meters I wanted, go figure. Three of those would have gotten me a free t-shirt and a $10.00 Rite Aid gift card. Oh well! :)

$6.00 - Durex Play
$2.99 - Garnier Hair Spray
$2.99 - Nivea Lip Balm

Subtotal: $11.98

- $2.00 Durex Coupon (SS 2/8)

Now I need to go input all my Walgreens and Rite Aid receipts online so I can get my rebates. :) I'm going to try to put together some grocery deals this week as well. We'll see how that goes. My goal is to one day be able to grocery shop and cut my bill by at least 75%. So far my best is only 61%. At least I'm trying.

Dont forget to do the MIR for the Windex cleaner.

Also what rebates are you talking about at riteaid with the meters?? I got one of the one touch meters to get my total up to $25 so I could use the riteaid $5/25 coupon. I have at least 4 of those other meter coupons you were talking about.

I didn't post about the MIR because I do not have the form for it. If I find it, I'll add it in.

The meter deal is for the Bayer rebate.

If you need an extra form, I have one. Just let me know.
