EDIT! Forgot a few B&BW deals; added to end of post on 01.31.09.

This weeks haul! :) Here's the breakdown, starting with Walgreens. We needed trash bags, so I grabbed these. I knew they were on sale, but didn't realize they had a rebate too!

$1.99 - Tuf Kitchen Trash Bags 30 Ct.

Subtotal: $1.99

Paid OOP: $1.99 + tax (cash)

Will Receive: $1.00 Wags Rebate

$0.99 isn't bad for a 30 pack of trash bags. No complaint on the quality either. Next few transactions are from CVS. A friend of mine gave me a helpful hint; give ECBs first, this cuts down on the tax and makes your OOP much lower. The only problem I ran into was running a negative total, so I'd have to throw in something small to make up the difference. But it definitely makes the OOP lower!

$24.95 - Gillette Mens Shampoo @ $4.99/ea. x 5
$1.19 - CVS 30 Ct. Cough Drops

Subtotal: $26.14

Used: $15.00 ECB

- $1.19 CVS Coupon (scanner)
- $10.00 Gillette Coupons ($2.00/ea. x 5) (PG 12/28, PG 1/18)

New Subtotal: - $0.05

Paid OOP: $0.70 (tax only)

Received: $15.00 ECB (gillette)

$14.97 - Gillette Shampoo @ $4.99/ea. x 3
$1.19 - CVS 30 Ct. Cough Drops
$0.89 - Chunky Candy Bar

Subtotal: $17.05

Used: $9.98 ECB

- $1.19 CVS Coupon (scanner)
- $6.00 Gillette Coupons ($2.00/ea. x 3) (PG 12/28, PG 1/18)

New Subtotal: - $0.12

Paid OOP: $0.25 (tax only)

Received: $9.00 ECB (gillette)

My total was originally negative sixty-six cents, so I threw in the Chunky candy to fix that. Oops! :) I forgot to use ECBs first for the next couple of transactions. I wrote the scenarios out in the exact order I paid ECB/Coupons or Coupons/ECB.

$7.99 - Gillette Fusion Gamer Razor
$7.99 - Nasogel

Subtotal: $15.98

- $2.00 Nasogel Coupon (IP)
- $4.00 Gillette Razor Coupon (PG 12/28)

New Subtotal: $9.98

Used: $2.00 ECB, $7.58 ECB

Paid OOP: $0.40 + tax (cash)

Received: $4.00 ECB (gillette), $7.99 ECB (nasogel)

This was my test transaction for the razors. The limit is published as 1, but people on the forums are reporting a limit of 5!! Sure enough, my limit was not reached at 1. I will also receive $3.00 for the Nasogel MIR that's inside the box.

$31.96 - Gillette Fusion Gamer Razors @ $7.99/ea. x 4

Subtotal: $31.96

- $16.00 Gillete Coupons ($4.00/ea. x 4) (PG 12/28)

New Subtotal: $15.96

Used: $3.00 ECB, $7.99 ECB, $4.00 ECB

Paid OOP: $0.97 + tax (cash)

Received: $16.00 ECB

$15.98 - Gillette Fusion Gamer Razors ($7.99/ea. x 2)

Subtotal: $15.98

- $8.00 Gillette Coupons ($4.00/ea. x 2)

New Subtotal: $7.98

Used: $5.00 ECB, $2.98 ECB

Paid OOP: $0.56 (tax only)

Received: $8.00 ECB

$15.98 - Gillette Fusion Gamer Razors ($7.99/ea. x 2)

Subtotal: $15.98

Used: $7.58 ECB

- $8.00 Gillette Coupons ($4.00/ea. x 2) (PG 12/28)

New Subtotal: $0.40

Paid OOP: $0.40 + tax (cash)

Received: $8.00 ECB

Next up, Walgreens, to attempt the Unilever "buy 8 products get $10.00 RR" deal.

$23.92 - Dove Deodorant @ $2.99/ea. x 8

Subtotal: $23.92

- $8.00 Wags Dove In-Ad Coupon
- $6.00 Dove Coupons ($1.50 off 2 Dove x 4) (RP 1/18)

New Subtotal: $9.92

Paid OOP: $9.92 + tax

Received: $10.00 RR

!!! This was an awesome deal for me, since Dove deodorant is the only deodorant I can use that doesn't cause any skin reactions. I was excited about this one. On the forums the deal seemed to be hit or miss all week. I waited for someone to post the UPC code for the working deodorants and I lucked out and found ONLY 8 on the shelf of the exact kind I needed. UPC # 79400 50730 Dove Original Clean only.

The last stop this week was Rite Aid. I actually did two separate, but identical, purchases and just stuck them in the same picture...

$3.99 - Veet Bladeless Razor Kit
$2.99 - Garnier Body Volume Shampoo

Subtotal: $6.98

- $2.00 Veet Coupon (IP)
- $1.00 Garnier Coupon (RP 1/4)

New Subtotal: $3.98

Paid OOP: $3.98 + tax (cash)

Will Receive: $3.00 Rebate (veet), $2.99 Rebate (garnier)

Rinse & repeat!

Also another wonderful event this week was finally getting our hardwood floors installed. It turned out beautiful. I just had to share...

Edit! I forgot I ran to Bath & Body Works earlier this week to take advantage of some email coupons I received. They were for a FREE Signature (original packaging) product, up to $12.00, with ANY purchase. The "original packaging" note made sense when we got to the store. Looks like B&BW has redesigned their bottles and are clearancing out the old styles. I also noticed the smaller sizes and higher prices. Mmhmm...

$5.00 - Cucumber Melon Body Spray
$1.00 - Raspberry Plum Lip Balm

Subtotal: $6.00

- $5.00 B&BW Coupon

New Subtotal: $1.00

Paid OOP: $1.00 + tax (cash)

$5.00 - Irresistible Apple Body Spray
$2.00 - Black Stuffed Sheep

Subtotal: $7.00

- $5.00 B&BW Coupon

New Subtotal: $2.00

Paid OOP: $2.00 + tax (cash)

My dogs LOVED the little sheep I bought a few weeks ago, so I grabbed another so they quit fighting over it. :)
