Since this is our off season at work, I have plenty of time to work out scenarios. :) Which brings me to this entry! Another update this week and more Garnier. I started out at CVS...

My next CVS transaction was botched. I have rainchecks from the huge 12/21 free-after-ecb two day sale they had. Well the store refused to accept the rainchecks, claiming they weren't allowed to give rainchecks for that sale. Funny, since corporate told me otherwise. I didn't push it though, they were very friendly about it all, just misinformed. I was originally getting the 2 HIP L'Oreal eyeshadows for $6.99 get $6.99 ECBs, but I put them back when the raincheck was refused. (I'll retry at another store tomorrow.) Since the husband wanted his candy, I still checked out with the other item I had.

- $1.00 Garnier Coupon

New Subtotal: $3.98

Received: $2.00 ECB (garnier)

Meh, what can you do. Win some, lose some. I never cause a scene over something like that. I don't want to be one of those couponers. I want my cashiers to like me and not bitch and moan throughout a transaction. ;) So far so good!

Next up was Rite Aid; who is also doing the Garnier deal! Every single drug store is doing the Garnier deal this week, interesting!

$3.00 - Garnier Shampoo
$3.00 - Garnier Shampoo

- $1.00 Garnier Coupon
- $1.00 Garnier Coupon

New Subtotal: $4.00

Will Receive: $4.00 Rebate

While grabbing the shampoo we noticed an end cap with a a fleece blanket sale! We picked up four of these 50"x60" fleece blankets for $10.00! Not bad at all! Especially since our three small dogs love them!

Next and final stop was Walgreens. I found a few more Garnier coupons and I wanted to see if they had restocked on any FAR items yet.

$2.99 - Garnier Shampoo
$5.98 - Garnier Mousse @ $2.99/ea. x 2

I read on a few forums that 7th Generation cleaners were on clearance at Walgreens stores for $1.19. I printed out two coupons for $1.00 off any cleaner just in case. Sure enough, our store has a shelf full of the cleaners!

$1.19 - 7th Generation All-Purpose Cleaner

- $1.00 7th Gen. Coupon

New Subtotal: $0.38

WOW! Can't beat that! Especially for those expensive 'green' cleaners. Not only that, but with the purchase, a catalina coupon printed out. $1.00 off any two cleaners. Not as good as my $1.00 off 1 cleaner, but still nice! :)

In the mail today I received my order from Rosas Candles. The lady who use to run Hoffmans Candles now works for this place. When they offered a free shipping deal, I took advantage of it and placed an order for some of my favorite scents of theirs.

$0.99 - Coconut Cream Pie Brick Tart
$1.98 - Cinnamon Buns Brick Tart @ $0.99/ea. x 2
$0.85 - Pineapple Supreme Donut Tarts (2)
$0.85 - Pineapple Supreme Mini Tarts (3)

Subtotal: $4.67

Paid: $4.67 total!

On my receipt is a handwritten note that they had sold out of the second Cinnamon Buns brick tart, so they sent me 3 large regular cinnamon buns tarts. Works for me. And they shipped via Priority Mail! Which cost $4.65. I'm not sure how that worked out! Now if only they would bring back Pineapple Coconut. Actually I wish Scentsy would add that scent to their list!! ;)
